Lights To Go Inc is a specialized traffic signal distributor / retailer providing traffic signals, hardware and control products for purchase and is NOT a subcontractor, and does not install, maintain or repair traffic signals in any jurisdiction.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Lights To Go Inc strives to accurately describe all items and to provide high quality merchandise. Often applications in this field require careful consideration be a professional as to the applicability and effectiveness to be expected. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with a product, please call us directly or complete our Customer Support Form and return the merchandise within 15 days in new, re-salable condition for a refund or credit. Because of the nature and usage of traffic signal hardware we can only accept returns of hardware including new traffic signals for 15 days from the date of purchase.

1 Year Defect Free Warranty

All of our electronic control products are warranted to be free from defects for (12Mo) 1 year from the date of purchase. If a control unit or LED module fails within this time we will provide a RMA# to return it to us for a repair or replacement. We cannot make any warranties or accept any responsibility for our products misuse, alteration or mis-application in excess of the selling price.

Return Policy

  1. Lights To Go must be advised within 15 days of purchase date that you desire to return material.
  2. Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving material.
  3. Return material will not be accepted if modified, altered, or showing signs of use.
  4. Returns may be subject to restocking charge.
  5. Returns of special order items and custom products will not be accepted.
  6. YOU MUST OBTAIN OUR PERMISSION AND SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL RETURNS.
  7. ALL RETURNED GOODS MUST BE MARKED WITH OUR “RMA NUMBER”.
  8. NO CREDIT ALLOWED FOR GOODS RETURNED WITHOUT OUR CONSENT.

Order Acceptance

The receipt of an e-mail order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.

Payment

You may pay by check, money order, Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, or Paypal (prepaid invoice). United States funds only. We do not accept C.O.D.s

Credit

Immediate credit will be extended to schools (not students of the school), hospitals, government agencies and public utilities when ordering by purchase order. Same day credit will be extended to well rated companies listed with Dun & Bradstreet. Companies not rated with Dun & Bradstreet may establish credit by contacting us for a credit application.

Minimum Orders

Due to the increased cost of shipping we require $15.00 minimum order when paying with credit card or prepayment.

Open Account

A minimum order of $40.00 is required for credit that includes schools, hospitals, government agencies and public utilities.

Outside the United States

Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico or any place outside the continental U.S. must order a minimum of $40.00 in merchandise, and must prepay by credit card. Also, due to the high cost of processing these orders, a $10.00 service charge may be added to your actual cost of shipping. All custom orders, configurations, and special orders are final sales. Lights To Go inc. – is not an exporter and does not export large orders outside the United States. The Company will ship to the purchaser’s customs broker/ freight exporter of choice within the continental US; all orders shipped outside the US are considered final sales and Cannot be returned or exchanged. Any applicable export duties, customs fees, brokerage charges, or VAT is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Sales Tax

All orders with a Kansas or Florida address must include 7.5% sales tax (or current local rate) on the merchandise portion of your order, unless you provide us with an exemption permit, Kansas resale tax form or Florida resale tax form. You may fax email your exemption to sales@lightstogo.com. Please be advised that we are not set up to remit sales tax to states other than Kansas or Florida. If your purchases are subject to sales tax in another state it will be your responsibility to remit to your state.

Shipping Method

Lights To Go Inc. will ship orders via UPS Ground, FED EX Ground or U.S. Priority Mail unless other arrangements are made. Lights To Go Inc, only ships on our accounts. We reserve the right to change shipping carrier based on best available rate(s) and delivery time(s) in order to provide our customers with the best service available.

We may use USPS Priority Mail for signal controller orders. This is the fastest and most cost effective method for these light weight packages. Delivery is 2 -3 days anywhere within the continental 48 states. Please note: Priority Mail does not include a tracking number for shipments outside the US, if tracking is required please contact us for details. Non-continental United States orders, please allow an additional 5 working days to process.

For our new traffic lights and signal hardware, we will use UPS or FedEx Ground unless other arrangements are made. Additional charges will apply if express shipment is needed (UPS Next Day, FedEx Priority, or Next Day Air.

Motor freight will be used for shipment of bulk orders when excessive weight or light poles are involved. First time orders on a credit card must ship to the credit card billing address.

Returned Check Fees

If your check is returned by the bank as unpaid we will notify you for alternative payment method. If alternative arrangement can be made i.e. credit card charge, we will add a minimal ($5) bank processing fees. If you cannot provide a credit card in a timely manner we will bill you for the full amount + $25 returned check fee.

Distributor Pricing:
If you have a requirement for a quantity of an item, please contact us. We can advise you on product availability and larger quantity pricing.

Shipment Damage

UPS/FedEx Shipments

  1. Visible Damage – Reject package. Do not sign for the package. Have UPS return the package to shipper.
  2. Concealed Damage – Immediately contact UPS to arrange for a “UPS Consignee Inspection”. The inspector must have the original carton and all the packing material for examination when he makes his report. Hold shipment with its original packing material until you receive further instructions. Failure to follow this exact procedure may VOID YOUR CLAIM.

Motor Freight

  1. Visible Damage – Any external evidence of loss or damage must be noted on Freight Bill or Express Receipt and signed by the carrier's agent. The carrier is required by law to do this. Failure to note visible damage may VOID YOUR CLAIM. Contact shipper for further instructions.
  2. Concealed Damage – Immediately contact shipper who will arrange for a damage report. The inspector must have the original carton and all the packing material for examination when he makes his report. Hold shipment with its original packing material until you receive further instructions. Failure to follow this exact procedure may VOID YOUR CLAIM.

Missing Items

  1. Merchandise we ship is carefully packaged or pre-packed by our suppliers. LOOK THROUGH EVERYTHING CAREFULLY. Small items are sometimes thrown out with the packing or overlooked in the box.
  2. Be sure you have received the number of pieces that you signed for. Shipper cannot be responsible for packages signed but not received.
  3. We must be notified concerning shortages WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF GOODS.

No terms or conditions can be imposed by purchaser, unless agreed upon in writing by the LTG Company and Purchaser. Lights To Go Inc- is a traffic signal and equipment sales company. Lights To Go Inc does not do subcontracting, installation, or maintenance of traffic signals and related equipment.

Limitation of Liability

The Company’s liability on any claim of any kind, including negligence and breach of warranty, for any loss or damage resulting, arising out of, or connected with this contract from the performance of breach thereof, or from the manufacturer, sale, delivery, resale, installation, repair or use any product covered by or furnished under this contract, shall in no case exceed the price allocable to the product or part thereof which gives rise to the claim. In no event shall the Company be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

Applicable Law

This agreement and matters connected with the performance thereof shall be construed, interpreted, applied, and governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Kansas.

ALL PRODUCTS - Described and pictured on website are normally stocked items unless otherwise noted.
